At the end of Part 1

Add:

14BPermitted disclosure of credit information by ACT energy and water utilities

Credit providers

  1. (1)

    For the purposes of subparagraph 21D(2)(a)(i) of the Act, the following credit providers are prescribed for the calendar year beginning on 1 January 2019:

    1. (a)

      an entity that engages in the retail sale of electricity or gas services in the Australian Capital Territory;

    2. (b)

      an entity that engages in the retail sale of water, sewerage or drainage services in the Australian Capital Territory.

Repeal of section

  1. (2)

    This section is repealed at the end of 1 January 2020.
