Prisons Amendment Regulations (No. 2) 2008

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

These regulations are the Prisons Amendment Regulations
(No. 2) 2008.

2.            Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows:

(a)	regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette;
(b)	the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.            The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Prisons
Regulations 1982.

4.            Regulation 37 amended

Regulation 37(1)(b) is amended by deleting "Associations Incorporation Act 1895;" and inserting instead —
" Associations Incorporation Act 1987; ".
5.	Regulation 55 amended Regulation 55(b) is amended as follows:

(a) by deleting "information or complaint" and inserting

instead —

(b) by deleting "Justices Act 1902;" and inserting instead —

" Criminal Procedure Act 2004; ".

6. Various references to "organization" changed to
"organisation"

Each provision listed in the Table to this regulation is amended by deleting "organization" in each place where it occurs and inserting instead —

" organisation ".
