PRISONS ACT 1981

PRISONS AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1994

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor in Executive

Council.

Citation

1.     These regulations may be cited as the Prisons Amendment Regulations

1994.  

Commencement

2.      These regulations come into operation on 1 July 1994.

Regulation 8 repealed, and transitional

3.     (1) Regulation 8 of the Prisons Regulations 1982* is repealed.

By Command of the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor. D. G. BLIGHT, Clerk of the Council.

(2) Despite subregulation (1), if —

(a) a prison officer receives any treatment under regulation 8 (1); or
(b) regulation 8 (4),

a registered pharmaceutical chemist supplies any item under

of the Prisons Regulations 1982* before 1 July 1994, any subsequent steps in the procedures set out in regulation 8 of those regulations (including the supply on or after 1 July 1994 as if regulation 8 of those regulations had not making and disposal of a claim) may be taken in respect of that treatment or

been repealed.
