HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Prisoners (Interstate Transfer) Act 1982, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

The Prisoners (Interstate Transfer) Regulation 1984 is amended by omitting from clause 12 (2) and Form 4 in Schedule 1 the word “Secretary” wherever occurring and by inserting instead the word “Director-General” .

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Prisoners (Interstate Transfer) Regulation 1984 to update references in that Regulation to the Director-General of the Attorney General’s Department (formerly known as the Secretary of the Attorney General’s Department).
