This notice may be cited as the Primary Producers’ Organisation and Marketing (Commercial Fishers General Levy) Notice 1997 . ˙ Amount of levy—Act, s 30F 2. Under section 30F(10)(b) 1 of the Act, the general levy made on members of commercial fishermen’s local branches is $478. ˙ Payment of levy.0 3.(1) A member must pay the levy if a licence is issued to the member or if the member’s licence is renewed. (2) The levy must be paid to the Secretary, Queensland Commercial Fishermen’s Organisation 2 or the Queensland Fisheries Management Authority. 3 (3) In subsection (1)— “licence” means a— (a) commercial fisher licence or a primary or tender commercial fishing boat licence issued under the Fisheries Act 1994 ; or (b) master fisherman’s licence granted under the Torres Strait Fisheries Act 1984 (Cwlth). ˙ Repeal 4.(1) The Primary Producers’ Organisation and Marketing (Commercial Fishers General Levy) Notice (No. 1) 1996 is repealed.
