The Principal Act and this Act may collectively be cited as "The Primary Producers' Oo-operative Associations Acts, 1923 to 1934." 2. Section twenty-two of the Principal Act is Amendments amended as follows: _ of s. 22. (a) Wherever the word" company" appears therein such word is deleted, and the word "corporation" is inserted in lieu thereof. (b) After the words" any State law" the words and brackets " (including this Act)" are inserted. * 14 Geo. V. No. 45 and 17 Geo. V. No. 4, supra, pages 10776 and 11652.

(C) The following additional provisos are added thereto :- "Provided further, that for the purposes of this section any person who is a supplier to a Board within the meaning of *" The Primary Producers' Organisation and Marketing Acts, 1926 to 1932," or t" The Wheat Pool Acts, 1920 to 1930" (or any other Act relating to the delivery to a Board of any primary produce) of the produce or some of the same in respect of which the business of a corporation is to be or is being carried on shall, if he is a shareholder in such corporation, be and be deemed to be a supplier to such corporation of such produce or some of the same as the case may be: Provided also, that without limiting the generality of the meaning of the term "corporation," the term shall also mean and include a company registered or ... deemed to be registered under t" The Companies Act of 1931," and also an association under this Act." Amendment 3. In section twenty-four of the Principal Act after toe of s. 24. the figures" 1913 " the words "or The Companies Act of 1931"" are inserted. New s. 24A. 4. A new section is inserted after section twenty- four of the Principal Act, as follows :- Association "[24A.] Notwithstanding any Act or law to the mtoatyakreefuse contrary, an association may refuse to take cognizance cognizance of, and shall not be compellable to pay, any order given oorfdceerrst. ain by any person, including any member of the association concerned, to pay to any person other than the Crown (or corporation or instrumentality representing the Crown) any portion of the moneys due to such person by such association: Provided further and notwithstanding any Act or law to the contrary, any association which in its discretion shall take cognizance of and pay any such portion of such moneys pursuant to any such order as aforesaid, may charge a fee by way of commission thereon not exceeding five per cent., which percentage may be deducted by the association from the moneys payable by the association to the person (other than the Crown or corporation or instrumentality representing the Crown) named in the order concerned." * 17 Geo.
