I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Primary Industries (Customs) Charges Act 1999, the Primary Industries (Excise) Levies Act 1999 and the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection Act 1991.

1Name of Regulations

 These Regulations are the Primary Industries Levies, Charges and Collection (Laying Chicken and Meat Chicken) Repeal Regulations 2000.

2Commencement

 These Regulations commence on 1 January 2001.

3Repeal of Statutory Rules

 The Statutory Rules mentioned in Schedule 1 are repealed.

4Transitional — regulations repealed by regulation 3

 Despite the repeal of regulations by regulation 3, those regulations (as in force or having effect immediately before the commencement of regulation 3) continue to have effect in relation to levies imposed before the commencement of Schedule 1.
