Primary Industries Levies and Charges (National Residue Survey Levies) Regulations 19982(Amendment)

I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection Act 1991, the National Residue Survey (Customs) Levy Act 1998, and the National Residue Survey (Excise) Levy Act 1998.

1.   Commencement

1.1 These regulations commence when Schedule 2 of the National Residue Survey Administration Amendment Act 1998 commences.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Primary Industries Levies and Charges (National Residue Survey Levies) Regulations 1998 are amended as set out in these regulations.

3.   Regulation 5 (Meaning of expressions for Part)

3.1   Subregulation 5 (2):

Omit “3 July 1998”, substitute “1 August 1998”.

4.   Regulation 6 (Levy year (Collection Act, s 4 (1) — definition of levy year))

4.1   Subregulation 6 (2):

Omit “3 July 1998”, substitute “1 August 1998”.

5.   Regulation 58 (Meaning of expressions for Part)

5.1   Subregulation 58 (2):

Omit the subregulation.

6.   Regulation 59 (Levy year (Collection Act, s 4 (1) — definition of levy year))
