Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection (Pig) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection Act 1991.

1.   Commencement

1.1 These Regulations commence when Schedule 2 to the National Residue Survey Administration Amendment Act 1998 commences.

Note   That Schedule commences on 3 July 1998.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection (Pig) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   New regulation 3A

3.1   After regulation 3, insert:

Who is a processor

 “3A. Paragraph (b) of the definition of processor in subsection 4 (1) of the Collection Act applies to pigs.”.

4.   New regulation 4A

4.1   After regulation 4, insert:

Liability of processor as intermediary

 “4A. Paragraph 7 (2) (b) of the Collection Act applies to pigs.”.
