Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection (National Residue Survey—Deer) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection Act 1991 and the National Residue Survey Administration Act 1992.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 January 1998.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection (National Residue Survey—Deer) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 2 (Interpretation)

[NOTE:   The following note should be inserted after regulation 2:

“[NOTE:   The National Residue Survey (Livestock Slaughter) Levy Act 1992 is prescribed for the definition of ‘levy’ in subsection 4 (1) of the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection Act 1991:  see regulation 4 of the Primary Industries Levies and Charges (National Residue Survey—Livestock Slaughter) Regulations.]”.

4.   Regulation 3 (What is the rate of NRS levy?)

4.1   Omit “2.5 cents.”, substitute “3 cents.”.
