Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection (Apple and Pear) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, and having taken into consideration the recommendations made to the Minister for Primary Industries and Energy by the Australian Horticultural Corporation and the Horticultural Research and Development Corporation, make the following Regulations under the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection Act 1991, the Horticultural Levy Act 1987 and the Horticultural Export Charge Act 1987.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 January 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection (Apple and Pear) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Schedule (Rate of Levy)

3.1   Omit the Schedule, substitute:

3.	Juicing apples	$1.70 per tonne	50 cents per tonne
4.	Juicing pears	$1.90 per tonne	60 cents per tonne
5.	Processing apples	$3.40 per tonne	$1.00 per tonne
6.	Processing pears	$3.80 per tonne	$1.20 per tonne

 

4.   Schedule 2 (Rate of Charge)

4.1   Omit the Schedule, substitute:
