This is the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection Amendment (Forest Growers) Regulation 2016.

This instrument is made under the Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection Act 1991.

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1Amendments

Primary Industries Levies and Charges Collection Regulations 1991

Paragraph 9.14(a) of Schedule 37

Repeal the paragraph, substitute:

  1. (a)

    the quantity (in cubic metres) of each of the following:

    1. (i)

      leviable logs produced from exotic softwood trees, of the genus Pinus sp., felled in a plantation;

    2. (ii)

      leviable logs produced from other trees felled in a plantation;

    3. (iii)

      leviable logs produced from trees felled other than in a plantation; and

Paragraph 9.15(b) of Schedule 37

Repeal the paragraph, substitute:

  1. (b)

    the total quantity (in cubic metres) of each of the following:

    1. (i)

      leviable logs processed from exotic softwood trees, of the genus Pinus sp., felled in a plantation;

    2. (ii)

      leviable logs processed from other trees felled in a plantation;

    3. (iii)

      leviable logs processed from trees felled other than in a plantation; and

Paragraph 9.16(b) of Schedule 37

Repeal the paragraph, substitute:

  1. (b)

    the total quantity (in cubic metres) of each of the following kinds of leviable logs bought or sold:

    1. (i)

      leviable logs produced from exotic softwood trees, of the genus Pinus sp., felled in a plantation;

    2. (ii)

      leviable logs produced from other trees felled in a plantation;

    3. (iii)

      leviable logs produced from trees felled other than in a plantation; and

Paragraph 9.23(1)(a) of Schedule 37

Repeal the paragraph, substitute:

  1. (a)

    the quantity (in cubic metres) of each of the following:

    1. (i)

      leviable logs produced from exotic softwood trees, of the genus Pinus sp., felled in a plantation;

    2. (ii)

      leviable logs produced from other trees felled in a plantation;

    3. (iii)

      leviable logs produced from trees felled other than in a plantation; and

    Subparagraphs 9.24(1)(c)(ii), (iii) and (iv) of Schedule 37

Repeal the subparagraphs, substitute:

  1. (ii)

    the quantity (in cubic metres) of leviable logs processed from exotic softwood trees, of the genus Pinus sp., felled in a plantation; and

  2. (iii)

    the quantity (in cubic metres) of leviable logs processed from other trees felled in a plantation; and

  3. (iv)

    the quantity (in cubic metres) of leviable logs processed from trees felled other than in a plantation; and

  4. (v)

    the amount of levy paid for each kind of leviable logs mentioned in subparagraphs (ii), (iii) and (iv); and

Paragraph 9.24(1)(d) of Schedule 37

Repeal the paragraph, substitute:

  1. (d)

    the total quantity (in cubic metres) of each of the following:

    1. (i)

      leviable logs processed from exotic softwood trees, of the genus Pinus sp., felled in a plantation;

    2. (ii)

      leviable logs processed from other trees felled in a plantation;

    3. (iii)

      leviable logs processed from trees felled other than in a plantation; and

    Subparagraphs 9.25(1)(c)(ii), (iii) and (iv) of Schedule 37

Repeal the subparagraphs, substitute:

  1. (ii)

    the quantity (in cubic metres) of leviable logs bought or sold that were produced from exotic softwood trees, of the genus Pinus sp., felled in a plantation; and

  2. (iii)

    the quantity (in cubic metres) of leviable logs bought or sold that were produced from other trees felled in a plantation; and

  3. (iv)

    the quantity (in cubic metres) of leviable logs bought or sold that were produced from trees felled other than in a plantation; and

  4. (v)

    the amount of levy paid for each kind of leviable logs mentioned in subparagraphs (ii), (iii) and (iv); and

Paragraph 9.25(1)(d) of Schedule 37

Repeal the paragraph, substitute:

  1. (d)

    the total quantity (in cubic metres) of each of the following kinds of leviable logs bought or sold:

    1. (i)

      leviable logs produced from exotic softwood trees, of the genus Pinus sp., felled in a plantation;

    2. (ii)

      leviable logs produced from other trees felled in a plantation;

    3. (iii)

      leviable logs produced from trees felled other than in a plantation; and
