s1 2 s3 Primary Industries Legislation Amendment Regulation No. 288, 2001 (No. 2) 2001 PART 1—PRELIMINARY 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Primary Industries Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 2) 2001 . PART 2—AMENDMENT OF STOCK REGULATION 1988 2 Regulation amended in pt 2 This part amends the Stock Regulation 1988 . 3 Amendment of s 2 (Definitions) Section 2— insert— ‘ (2) In this regulation, each of the following acronyms stand for the words stated for the acronym— (a) CF1—confirmed free one; (b) CF2—confirmed free two; (c) CF3—confirmed free three; (d) IN—infected; (e) MN—monitored negative; (f) NA—not assessed; (g) PC—provisionally clear; (h) RD—restricted; (i) SU—suspected; (j) TN—tested negative.’.

s4 3 s6 Primary Industries Legislation Amendment Regulation No. 288, 2001 (No. 2) 2001 4 Amendment of s 18 (Introduction of cattle—tuberculosis) Section 18(1)— insert— ‘ “impending free area” means an area that— (a) has been assessed for tuberculosis under an approved program for monitoring tuberculosis; and (b) does not contain an IN herd or RD herd; and (c) the chief inspector or chief veterinary officer considers would be free of tuberculosis, if it were to be found in the area, within 2 years after it is found.’.
