This regulation may be cited as the Primary Industries Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1999 . PART 2—AMENDMENT OF ANIMALS PROTECTION REGULATION 1991 ˙ Regulation amended in pt 2 2. This part amends the Animals Protection Regulation 1991 . ˙ Amendment of s 8 (Definition for pt 4) 3.(1) Section 8, heading— omit, insert— ‘ Definitions for pt 4 ’. (2) Section 8— insert— ‘ “circus animal” means a vertebrate animal kept or exhibited in a circus to entertain or educate the public.’.
