An Act to amend section 7a of the Prickly-pear Act, 1924, in relation to

the Minister’s powers of delegation. [Assented to, 13th April, 1982.]

Prickly-pear {Delegations) Amendment.

BE it enacted by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows ;—

Short title.

1.          This Act may be cited as the “Prickly-pear (Delegations)

Amendment Act, 1982”.

Principal Act.

2. The Prickly-pear Act, 1924, is reterred to in this Act as

the Principal Act.

Amendment of Act No. 31, 1924.

3.          The Principal Act is amended in the manner set forth in

Schedule 1.

Savings.

4. A delegation—

(a)

made under section 7 a of the Principal Act; and

(b)

in force immediately before the date of assent to this Act,

shall be deemed to be a delegation made under section 7a of the

Principal Act as in force after the date of assent to this Act.

SCHEDULE 1.

(Sec. 3.)

A m endm ents to the P rincipal A c t ,

(1) Section 7 a (1 )—

Omit “prescribed office the exercise or performance of such”, insert instead “office under the Minister’s administration the exercise or performance”.

(2) Section 7a (1 )—■

Omit “as may be prescribed in relation to the holder of that office”.

(3) Section 7a ( 2 )—■

Omit “a pre.scribed”, insert instead “an”.

(4) Section 7a (3) —

Omit “prescribed”,

(5) Section 7a (4), (5) —

Omit the subsections.

(6) Section 7a (7) —

Omit the subsection.
