PRICES REGULATION (AMENDMENT) ACT.

Act No. 24, 1949.

An Act to amend the Prices Regulation Act,

1948, in certain respects; and for purposes ’ —

connected therewith.	[Assented to, 15th
September, 1949.]

T )E it enacted by the King’s Most Excellent Majesty,

11 by and with the advice and consent of the Legis­

lative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1 .(1 ) This Act may be cited as the “ Prices Eegulation Short title

(Amendment) Act, 1949.”	station.
(2) The Prices Eegulation Act, 1948, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Prices Eegulation Act, 1948-1949.

2 . The Prices Eegulation Act, 1948, is amended—	Amendment
of Act
No. 26,1948.

(a)	by omitting from subsection five of section thirty	Sec. 30 (5).
the words “ unless the court is satisfied that the	selling at (Offence of
sale or offering for sale took place without his	higher than
knowledge and that he has systematically used	maximum
price.)
all due diligence to secure observance of this Act” ;

(b) by omitting section sixty-two.
