AN ACT to amend the Presbyterian Church of

Australia Act, 1970.

[Assented to 8th May, 1972.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Presbyterian and

Church of Australia Act Amendment Act, 1972. citation.

(2) In this Act the Presbyterian Church of g MTV'

Australia Act, 1970, is referred to as the principal

Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Presbyterian Church of Australia Act, 1970-1972.

Section 3

Paragraph (a) of section 3 of the principal Act is amended by inserting after the word, "Australia" in line two, the words, "or the General Assembly thereof".

Section 4

amended. 3. Subsection (1) of section 4 of the principal Act

is amended

(a)	by substituting for the passage, "section 3" in line thirty-seven, the passage, "subsec- tion (1) of section 2"; and
(b)	by substituting for the passage, "paragraph (a) of that section" in the penultimate and last lines, the words, "that subsection".
