POUNDS REGULATIONS 2001

Regulations under the Pounds Act 1930

1Citation

These Regulations may be cited as the Pounds Regulations 2001.

2Poundage fees

The poundage fees payable in relation to impounded cattle (other than sucklings under the age of 6 months) are set out in the Schedule.

3Repeal

The Pounds Regulations, Regulations 1967, No. 27, are repealed.

For an entire horse, mule, ass, camel, bull or boar over or apparently over the age of 2 years	20.00	5.00
For an entire horse, mule, ass, camel, bull or boar under or apparently under the age of 2 years	15.00	2.50
For a mare, gelding, colt, filly, foal, ox, cow, steer, heifer, calf, ram or pig (other than a boar)	10.00	2.50
For a wether, ewe, lamb or goat	5.00	1.25

*Note: cattle is defined in section 3 of the Act and includes an entire horse, mare, gelding, colt, filly or foal, bull, cow, ox, steer, heifer or calf, sheep, camel, ass, mule, goat, pig or buffalo.
