Poultry Meat Industry Amendment

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Poultry Meat Industry Act 1986.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is:

( a )	to require notice of upcoming appointments to the Poultry Meat Industry Committee to be given in the Gazette and posted to individual poultry processors (instead of by publication in a newspaper, as at present), and
(b)	to change the rate at which the application fee for approval of agreements between poultry processors and growers is calculated from $100 for each 1 2 month agreement to $122 for each 12 month agreement.

This Regulation is made under the Poultry Meat Industry Act 1986, including section 23.

1 Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Poultry Meat Industry Amendment
Regulation 1998.

2 Amendment of Poultry Meat Industry Regulation 1995

The Poultry Meat Industry Regulation 1995 is amended as set out

in Schedule 1.
