Poultry Industry Levy Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and pursuant to section 4 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, and after taking into consideration the recommendations with respect to the amounts to be prescribed for the purposes of paragraphs 6 (1) (a) and (b) of the Poultry Industry Levy Act 1965 made to the Minister by the Australian Egg Marketing Council, hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 April 1986.

2. Regulation 3 of the Poultry Industry Levy Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

Rate of levy

“3. (1) For the purposes of paragraph 6 (1) (a) of the Act the amount of 4.9 cents is prescribed.

“(2) For the purposes of paragraph 6 (1) (b) of the Act the amount of 0.1 cent is prescribed.”.
