AN ACT to amend and continue the opera- tion of the Postponement of Debts Act, 1914.

[Assented to 31st October, 1916.]

E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and

Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Par-

liament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.     This Act may be cited as the Postponement of Debts Act Con- Short title.

limitation Act. 1916, and shall be read as one with the Postponement

of Debts Act, 1914, hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

2.     Section two of the principal Act is hereby amended by Amendment of

inserting, after the word " specified," in the fourth line thereof, the sec. 2.

words " or of persons of the classes specified."

3.     The principal Act, as hereby amended, shall continue in continuance of

operation until the thirty-first day of December, One thousand nine Let

hundred and seventeen, but it shall be lawful for the Governor, by

Proclamation published in the Government Gazette at any time

prior to that date, to determine the operation thereof.
