payme'ut of certain delits may be postponed : Be it therefore enacted by the K ing’s iNlost Ikvccllent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Kcav South AVales in Barliairn'iit assembled, and by the authority of the sanu', as follows :—■

2 . (1) The Clov('ruor may, from time to time, by i'o,,q>(me-

Provided that Avlu're interest Avas chargeable in re.spect of any such d('bt, sncli interest shall coutiniu' lo run and be so chargeable', but shall not be payable durimi' such postpoiu'im'nt.
(2) Any such proclamation shall have the force of
laAv.
3 . This Act shall eontinm' in force until a period of Duration of
six months after tlu' dt'claration of ])eace in the present bostilitit's betAveen Ifis Mtijesty and .llis Majesty’s enemies.
