PROVISIONAL REGULATIONS UNDER THE POST AND

TELEGRAPH ACT 1901.

 

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of  Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council hereby certify that, on account of urgency, the undermentioned amended Regulations under the Post and Telegraph Act 1901, namely :-

should come into immediate operation, and make the amended Regula-

tions to come into operation forthwith as Provisional Regulations. .

GENERAL REGULATIONS.

Holiday Arrangements.

The regulation under this head (Statutory Rules 1906, No. 98) is amended by substituting “9 a.m.” for “9.30 a.m.” in the 2nd column opposite the line in the 1st column which reads “The Money Order

  Office to be open.”

PARCELS POST.

Directions as to Posting.

Regulation 2 under this head (Statutory Rules 1908, No. 117) is amended by adding “and New Zealand” after the words “Cape Colony,” where those words appear in clause (b).

POSTAL NOTES.

Regulation 1 under this head (Gazette, 5th June, 1902, page 255) is amended by substituting 9 a.m. for 9.30 a.m. in the first paragraph.
