REGULATION UNDER THE POST AND TELEGRAPH ACT 1901-1910.

(Issued provisionally as Statutory Rules 1911, No. 91.)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the undermentioned amended Regulation under the Post and Telegraph Act 1901–10, namely:—

General Postal Regulations.

Miscellaneous.

to come into operation on the ninth day of September, 1911.

Regulation 9 under this head (Gazette No. 26 of 5th June, 1902, page 246), is amended by inserting at the end thereof the following words:—

“Provided that registered postal articles addressed to a deceased person, and in connexion with which the sender has paid the fee for an acknowledgment of receipt, shall be returned to the sender.”
