Postal Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
REGULATIONS UNDER THE POST AND TELEGRAPH ACT 1901-1974.*
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council,
hereby make the following Regulations under the

Amendments of the Postal Regulations
(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (3) the word and figure “ sub-regulation (3a) ” and substituting the words and figures “ sub-regulations (3a) and (3c) ”;
(b) by inserting after sub-regulation (3b) the following sub-regulation:—
“ (3c) Where an application for redirection is made by a pensioner or a war widow pensioner, the fee referred to in whichever of paragraph (3) (a) or (b) is applicable is not payable in relation to the first month in respect of which redirection is applied for. ”; and
(c) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:—
“ (8) In sub-regulation (3c), ‘ pensioner ’ and ‘ war widow pensioner ’ have the same meanings, respectively, as in regulation 29 of the Telephone Regulations. ”.
(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (5) the word and figure “ sub-regulation (5a) ” and substituting the words and figures “ sub-regulations (5a) and (5c) ”;
(b) by inserting after sub-regulation (5b) the following sub-regulation:—
“ (5c) Where an application for the holding of mail is made by a pensioner or a war widow pensioner, the fee referred to in whichever of paragraph (5) (a) or (b) is applicable is not payable in relation to the first month in respect of which the holding of mail is applied for. ”; and

(c) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:—
“ (10) In sub-regulation (5c), ‘ pensioner ’ and ‘ war widow pensioner ’ have the same meanings, respectively, as in regulation 29 of the Telephone Regulations.”.
