REGULATIONS UNDER THE POST AND TELEGRAPH ACT 1901-1950.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Post and Telegraph Act 1901-1950.

Amendments of the Postal Regulations. 

Newspaper wrapper.

1. Regulation 56 of the Postal Regulations is repealed.

Impressing of stamps on envelopes, &c.

2. Regulation 114 of the Postal Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (e) of sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead the following paragraph:—

“(e) Postcards shall be five and one-half inches by three and one-half inches in size and shall be strong enough to enable them to be handled easily in the post.”.
