STATUTORY RULES.

1937. No. 13.

REGULATION UNDER THE POST AND TELEGRAPH ACT 1901-1934.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Post and Telegraph Act 1901-1934.

Amendment of the Postal Regulations. 

1. Regulation 19 of the Postal Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (1.) and inserting the following paragraph in its stead:—

“(c) Unobliterated adhesive postage stamps, except:—

(i) when affixed to an enclosed post card, letter card or envelope, and

(ii) when sent by Merchandise Post to a place within the Commonwealth and a registration fee of at least fourpence is paid on the package.”
