AN ACT to amend the Post Office Savings

Bank Consolidation Act, 1893.

[Assented to, Both September, 496.]

Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and

assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

1.     THIS Act may be cited as the Post Office Savings Bank shott title

Act, 1896, and shall be read with the Post Office Savings Bank

Consolidation Act, 1893, hereinafter called the principal Act.

2.     THE twentieth section of the principal Act is amended Amendment of 57

as follows:—

Vic., No. 3, s. 20.

Sub-section (c.) paragTaph (2.) is amended by striking: out

the word " three" which immediately precedes the word

Post Office Savings Bank Act—Amendment.

" thousand," and inserting, instead of the word " three,"

the word " seven ; " and

By adding the following sub-section :—

(d.) In the purchase of debentures issued by any municipality in accordance with the Municipal Institutions Act, 1895.
