STATUTORY RULES.

1923. No. 144.

REGULATION UNDER THE POST AND TELEGRAPH ACT 1901-1923.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council; hereby make the following Regulation under the Post and Telegraph Act 1901-1923 to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of the Post and Telegraph Regulations.

(Statutory Rules 1913, No. 348, as amended to this date.)

Regulation 73 is amended by inserting the following sub-regulation after sub-regulation (4):—

“(5) The sender of articles which, under this regulation, are entitled to transmission by post free of charge, shall pay the prescribed registration fee on all such articles when sent by registered post.”
