REGULATION UNDER THE POST AND TELEGRAPH ACT 1901-1923.

I, THE DEPUTY OF THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the undermentioned amended Regulation under the Post and Telegraph Act 1901-1923, to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of the Post and Telegraph Regulations.

(Statutory Rules 1913, No. 348, as amended to this date.)

After regulation 63 of the Post and Telegraph Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—

63a. Bulk postings of newspapers the addresses of which do not appear on the wrappers will be accepted only if the wrappers are of brown paper and the newspapers are arranged in such order as may be previously specified by the Department to ensure expeditious handling at the dispatching post office.
