REGULATION UNDER THE POST AND TELEGRAPH ACT 1901–1916.

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the undermentioned amended Regulation under the Post and Telegraph Act 1901–1916 to come into operation forthwith.

Amendment of the Post and Telegraph Regulations 1913.

(Statutory Rules 1913, No. 348.)

Regulation 186 is repealed, and the following Regulation is inserted in its stead:—

186. Envelopes and wrappers bearing embossed or impressed postage stamps which have not been defaced, and spoiled letter cards and post cards bearing undefaced stamps, may be repurchased at the General Post Office, subject to a discount, in the case of envelopes and wrappers, at the rate of five per cent., and in the case of letter cards and post cards, at the rates prescribed by Regulation 185.
