Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979

1      Name of Plan

This Plan is Port Stephens Local Environmental Plan 2000

(Amendment No 33).

2      Commencement

This Plan commences on the day on which it is published on the NSW legislation website.

3      Aims of Plan

This Plan aims to amend Port Stephens Local Environmental Plan

2000:

(a)	to rezone part of the land to which this Plan applies from Zone No 1 (a) (Rural Agriculture “A” Zone) to Zone No 4 (a) (Industrial General “A” Zone) to facilitate industrial development, and
(b)	to rezone the remaining land to which this Plan applies, being land within 20 metres of a wetland identified under State Environmental Planning Policy No 14—Coastal Wetlands, from Zone No 1 (a) (Rural Agriculture “A” Zone) to Zone No 7 (a) (Environment Protection “A” Zone) to provide a buffer to that wetland.

4      Land to which Plan applies

This Plan applies to part of Lot 491, DP 727810, parts of Lots 311 and 312, DP 1125008, part of Lot 16, DP 1010867, part of Lot 151, DP 1022499, part of Lot 10, DP 852917, part of SP 78791 and parts of Lots 121 and 122, DP 1122650, in the vicinity of Port Stephens Drive, Trades Circuit and Kara Crescent, Taylors Beach, as shown edged heavy black and lettered “4 (a)” or “7 (a)” on the map marked “Port Stephens Local Environmental Plan 2000 (Amendment No 33)” deposited in the office of Port Stephens Council.
