I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under section 29 of the Port Companies Act 1997 .17 May 1999

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Port Companies Regulations 1999 . 2CommencementThese regulations are taken to have taken effect on 30 July 1997. 3ProceedingsAny legal proceedings instituted or able to be instituted by or against a former board before a court, tribunal or arbitrator before the commencement day may, on or after that day, be continued or instituted by or against the appropriate company.
