Port Authorities Amendment Regulations

(No. 4) 2013

Made by the Lieutenant-Governor and deputy of the Governor in
Executive Council.

1.             Citation

These regulations are the Port Authorities Amendment
Regulations (No. 4) 2013.

2.             Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

(a) regulations 1 and 2 — on the day on which these

regulations are published in the Gazette;

(b) the rest of the regulations — on the day after that day.

3.             Regulations amended

These regulations amend the Port Authorities Regulations 2001.

4.             Regulation 43 amended

Delete regulation 43(4) and insert:

(4) If the services of a pilot are arranged for a vessel and

the arrangement is cancelled —

(a)	with less than 2 hours’ notice being given to the pilot, at any time of the day — the charge set
out in Schedule 2 Division 2 item 4 is payable; and
(b)	with not less than 2 hours’ notice being given to

the pilot, between the hours of 10 p.m. and

6 a.m. the following day — the charge set out

in Schedule 2 Division 2 item 5 is payable.

5.             Regulation 50 amended

In regulation 50(a)(i) delete “$1 177.00; and” and insert:

$1 211.70; and

6.             Schedule 2 Division 2 replaced

Delete Schedule 2 Division 2 and insert:

Division 2 — Port of Bunbury

1.        Pilotage of a vessel into and out of the port ................. $6 184.87

2.        Pilotage of a vessel from a place in the port to

another place in the port ............................................... $3 092.44

3.        Detention of pilot, for each hour or part of an hour ...... $1 546.22

4. Cancellation of pilot (less than 2 hours’ notice) ........... $1 546.22

5.        Cancellation of pilot (not less than 2 hours’ notice,

between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following day) ............ $773.11

6.        Cancellation of pilot boat crew only ............................. $1 546.22
