An Act to authorise portion of certain Park Lands at
Port Augusta West to he Surveyed and Sold
as Town Lands.
[Assented to, November 1716, 1882.1 HEREAS it is expedient to authorise portion of certain ark Preamble.

public purposes-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and conscnt of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said province, in this present Parliament assembled, as follows: |

granting to the Minister Controlling Education of portion of
certain Park Lands at Port Augusta West," is hereby repealed.
2. From and after the passing of this Act all that portion of the Lands | Schedule may |
park lands adjoining the Township of Port Augusta West, defined | a | , | , | , | , | , | , | so^. |
in the Schedule hereto, and containing one hundred acres or there- abouts, shall cease to be reserved and dedicated as a place for the recreation and amusement of the inhabitants of the Township of Port Augusta West, and may be surveyed, delineated, and sold under the provisions of the Crown Lands Consolidation Act" as town lands, subject to necessary reserves for roads and other public purposes.

THE SCHEDULE REFERRED TOCommencing at a point eleven chains south-cast of the south-eastern boundary of section 174, and 1,156 links north-east of the north-eastern boundary of section 135, suburban to Port Augusta West; thence south-easterly by a line north-east of and parallel to the north-eastern boundaries of sections
134 and 109 to high-watermark on the sea-coast; thence easterly along the sea-coast to the south-westcrn boundary of the Township of Port August West; thence north-westerly and north-easterly along boundaries of said township to the west side of Loudon's Road; thencc north- westerly along said side of road, and north-easterly along the north-western boundary of said township to its north corncr; thence south-easterly along its north-eastern boundary to high-watermark on the sea-coast; thence north-easterly along high-water
mark for about eleven chains; thence north-westerly by a line eight chains north-east of and parallel to the north-eastern boundary of said township for about twenty- three chains; thence south-westerly a t right angles by
a line eight chains north-westof and parallel to the north-western boundary of township aforesaid for a distance of4,744 links to the point of commencement.
