An Act to fix and define the Water Frontages of portions

of Sections 916 and 201 2, Hundred of Fort Adelaide.

HEREAS the owner of portions of sections 916 and 2012, Preamble.

W hundred of Port Addaide, has arranged to construct a graving dock on the said sections, and it is therefore expedient to fix

and define the boundaries of the water frontages. of the said

sections, abutting on the waters of Gawler Reach, Port Adehide-Re

it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South

Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council

and House of Assembly of the said province, in this present

Parliament assembled, as follows:

1, The boundaries of the water frontages of portions of sections Boundaries of water

916 and 2012, hundred of Port Adelaide, abutting on the Crawler Reach, Port Adelaide, as set forth in the First Schedule to this Act,

and as delineated by a red dottcd line in the map annexed in the

Second Schedule hereto, marked G. W.G., S.-G., 19-7-86, shall

henceforth be taken to be the true boundaries of the water frontages of the said lands, and as so described and delineated shall be accepted by all Courts and persons as the lawful water frontages of

the lands aforesaid,

2. At any time after the expiration of twenty-one years from the slips, &C., to be

passing of this Act, the slips known as Fletcher's Slips, and all removed.

appliances erected or made on such land and projecting or encroach-

ing upon the waters of Gawler Reach, beyond the boundary-line in

the last section mentioned, shall, when required by the Treasurer,

be removed by and at the cost and expense of the owner or

occupier, and, in default, the said owner or occupier shall be liable to s penalty of not exceeding Five Pounds per day for every day

such slips and appliances, or any of them, are allowed to remain or bc used, after such requmt for removal as aforesaid, such penalty to

he recovered in a summary 'manner before any two Justices of the

Peace.

Payment.

3. Until the removal of the said slip known as Fletcher's slip, the owner or occupier thereof shall pay to the Treasurer the sum of One Shilling per foot per annum for every fbot of the said slip which projects into or under the watcrs of Gawler Reach, beyond the red dottcd line in the plan in the Second Schedule hereto, such payment to be made by cqual half-yearly payments.

Commencing a t a point on the eastern side of road dividing section 9 16, hundred

of Port Adclaide, from Hawker's Crcek Government reserve, 815 links from thc

southern side Dunnikier-road; thence south-4011th-easterly, by a line being the

production of side of road aforesaid for 410 links ; t h e n c ~ east-north-easterly, by a straight line to the south-west corner of suhdivison of section 2012, on the eastern sidc of McKendrick-street, about 990 links from the southern side of Itann-street,
