HEREAS it is desirable that the land described in the &st

W Schedule to this Act should be included within the boun- daries of and become incorporated with the Corporate Town of

Port Adelaide: And whereas it is also desirable that the land described in the Sccond Schedule to this Act should be declared a public street, highway, and thoroughfare, of thc said Corporate Town, and that the care, control, and management of the same be vested in " The Corporation of the Town of Port Adelaide: " And whereas a plan, dated Fifteenth of September, 1871, and signed

A. B. Cooper, Deputy Surveyor-Gcncral," shaming the land so proposed to be included within the said boundaries of the said Cor- porate Town, and also showing thc said public street, highway, or thorougllfare, has been duly prepared and deposited in the office of the Surveyor-General, at Adelaide-Be it therefore Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly of the said Province, in this prcsent Parliament assembled, as follows:

1. The land described in the First Schedule to this Act, shall, ~ncorporationof

from and after the passing hereof, become incorporated with, and form part of the Corporate Town of Port Adelaide aforesaid, and the boundaries of the said Town shall be altered accordingly, so

as to include the said land therein; and thereupon the said land

shall in allmatters and things be under and subject to the provisions

2. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto, forming same is hereby declared to be a public street, highway, and thoroughfare of the said Corporate Town of Port Adelaide, and the

part of the land described in the First Schedule, shall be and the

care, control, and management thereof shall vest in the said

Provieo.

Corporation: Provided that nothing herein contained shall be deemed to include in such street any land now under lease to any

person, until after the expiration o f such lease.

In the name and on behalf of the Queen I hereby assent to

this Act.

FIRST SCHEDULE,

A piece of land commencing at a point on the southern shore of Gawler Reach, Port B

Adelaid~, where the prgdu&iqn oL$he western side of Mundy-street intersects the

wharf; thence in an easterly u~rection, along L ~ C northcrn sides of the wharf, landing steps, and wharf allotments, to the north-western corner of the Queen's Wharf; thence east-north-easterly, along the northern side of the said wharf to its intersection with the production of the western side of the Cogguwial-road; thence south- south-easterly, along the said side of road to its intersection with the northern side

of St. Vincent-street: thence westerly, along the northern side of said street for

about five chain^; thence north-north-westkly for about six and three-quarter chains, to the north-eastern corner of part of Scction 2011, in the Hundred of Port Adelaide, County of Adelaide; thence westerly, along the northern boundary of part of the said Section, and its production to the western side of Mundy-street; thence northerly, to the point of commencement, as the same is more particularly delineatcd in the said plan so deposited in the office of the Surveyor-General as aforesaid, and therein colored green.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

A piece of land, portion of the land described in the first schedule commencing at the south-western corner of the North Parade, Port Adelaide, and running them& easterly along the southern boundary of the North Parade, and its production across the Government Reserve, to the western side of the Commercial-road; thence north- westerly, along the western side of said road for about sixty-two and a-half feet; thence westerly by a line parallel to the southern boundary of North Parade, for about ninety-five feet, to the eastern side of Simpson's store; thencc southerly and westerly, along the eastern and southern sides of the said store to its south-western corcer; thence northerly, along the western side of the said store for about sixteen feet; thence westerly, by a line sixty feet from and parallel to the southern boundary of the North Parade, to the production of the western side of Mundy-street; thence southerly, to the point of commencement, as the same i~ more particularly delincated in the said plan eo deposited in the office of the Surveyor-General as aforesaid, and marked a Road" and shaded
