AN ACT to amend subsection three of section seven, and section thirteen of the Poor Persons Legal Assist- ance Act, 1928.

B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byand with the advice and consent of the Legislative

Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in

this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of

the same, as follows:—

1.    This Act may be cited as the Poor Persons Legal short title.

Assistance Act Amendment Act, 1931, and shall be read as one with the Poor Persons Legal Assistance Act, 1928, here- inafter called "the principal Act."

3.    Section thirteen of the principal Act is amended by trendment of a.

excising the words "and any costs which an unsuccessful poor person receiving legal assistance under this Act is liable to pay the opposite party" in the eighth, ninth, and tenth lines of that section.
