Pollution of Waters by Oil and Noxious Substances Amendment Regulations 2008

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Pollution of Waters by Oil and Noxious Substances Act 1987 .26 May 2008

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Pollution of Waters by Oil and Noxious Substances Amendment Regulations 2008 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on 1 July 2008. 3Principal RegulationsIn these regulations, the Pollution of Waters by Oil and Noxious Substances Regulations 2007 are referred to as the Principal Regulations. 4Regulation 4 amended (Prescribed office for the purposes of section 3(2)(b) of Act) Regulation 4(a) of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting "Director of Environmental Management" and substituting "Director, Environment Protection Authority".
