POLLUTION CONTROL ACT 1970—REGULATION

(Relating to fees)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Pollution Control Act 1970, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 July 1995.

Amendment

2. The Pollution Control Regulation 1985 is amended by omitting from clause 3 (2) (b) the matter “$72.20” and by inserting instead the matter “$73.30”.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The Pollution Control Regulation 1985 prescribes fees for the issue, renewal and transfer of licences under the Pollution Control Act 1970 in terms of fee units. The object of this Regulation is to increase the fee unit from $72.20 to $73.30.

This Regulation is made under the Pollution Control Act 1970, including sections

17B (1) and 32 (the general regulation making power).
