No 79—Proclamation

MARIE BASHIR, Governor I, Professor Marie Bashir AO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Police Service Amendment (Complaints) Act 2001, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 23 November 2001 as the day on which that Act (except for Schedule 1 [2] and [4]) commences.

Explanatory note

The object of this proclamation is to commence the Police Service Amendment (Complaints) Act 2001, other than such of its provisions as relate to the disclosure of information concerning the identity of certain complainants.
