This regulation may be cited as the Police Service Administration Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1998 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Police Service Administration Regulation 1990 . ˙ Insertion of new pt 10— 3. After part 9— insert— ‘ PART 10—MISCELLANEOUS ˙ ‘ Local laws do not to apply in relation to police dogs or horses etc. ‘ 10.1 A local law does not apply in relation to— (a) a police dog or police horse; or (b) a police dog handler in connection with the keeping, maintenance or use of any police dog for the purpose of discharging a function under the Act; or (c) an officer in connection with the keeping, maintenance or use of any police horse for the purpose of discharging a function under the Act.’.
