Police Regulations Amendment (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2024

Made by the Governor in Executive Council.

Part 1Preliminary1.Citation

These regulations are the Police Regulations Amendment (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2024.

2.Commencement

These regulations come into operation as follows —

  • (a)

    Part 1 — on the day on which these regulations are published on the WA legislation website;

  • (b)

    the rest of the regulations — on 1 July 2024.

This Part amends the Pawnbrokers and Second‑hand Dealers Regulations 1996.

6.Regulation 28 amended
  • (1)

    Delete regulation 28(1) and (2) and insert:

    The fee to accompany an application for the issue of either of the following is set out in item 1 of the Table to this regulation —

    • (a)

      a pawnbroker’s licence;

    • (b)

      a second-hand dealer’s licence.

       
  • (2)

    In regulation 28(4) delete “3” and insert:
