Police Regulation Revocation Regulations 2014

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to revoke regulations made under the Police Regulation Act 1958.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 118, 118K, 118S, 118X, 120 and 130 of the Police Regulation Act 1958.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2014.

4    Police Regulation (Agency Photographs Fees) Regulations 2009

The Police Regulation (Agency Photographs Fees) Regulations 2009[1] are revoked.

5Police Regulations 2013

The Police Regulations 2013[2] are revoked.

6Police Regulation (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2013

The Police Regulation (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2013[3] are revoked.

1.     General Information

The Police Regulation Revocation Regulations 2014, S.R. No. 78/2014 were made on 24 June 2014 by the Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council under sections 118, 118K, 118S, 118X, 120 and 130 of the Police Regulation Act 1958, No. 6338/1958 and came into operation on 1 July 2014: regulation 3.

The Police Regulation Revocation Regulations 2014 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 24 June 2024 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).

There are no amendments made to the Police Regulation Revocation Regulations 2014 by statutory rules, subordinate instruments and Acts.
