POLICE REGULATION (AMENDMENT)

An Act to provide for extended leave of absence George vi.

for members of the police force and the payment of the monetary value of any such extended leave not taken before death; for these purposes to amend the Police Regulation Act, 1899-1943; and for pur­ poses connected therewith. [Assented to, 14th November, 1944.]

(2) The Police Regulation Act, 1899, as amended by subsequent Acts, and by this Act, may be cited as the Police Regulation Act, 1899-1944.

relative, or their legal representative, shall be entitled to receive the money value of the leave not taken, or not completed, computed at the rate of salary the member of the police force received at the time of his death. Such payment shall be in addition to any payment due under the provisions of the Police Eegulation (Superannuation) Act, 1906-1944:

Provided that where payment of the money value of leave has been made under this section, no action may be brought against the Crown for payment of any amount in respect of such leave.
