s1 2 s4 Police Powers and Responsibilities Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2006 No. 15, 2006 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Police Powers and Responsibilities Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2006 . 2 Regulation amended This regulation amends the PolicePowersandResponsibilities Regulation 2000. 3 Amendment of sch 5 (Corresponding laws) Schedule 5, ‘ Search Warrants Act 1985 (NSW)’— omit, insert— ‘ Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002 (NSW)’. 4 Amendment of sch 11 (Notified areas) Schedule 11— insert — ‘1A Brisbane—City ‘(1) The area, including King George Square, within the following boundary— (a) Ann Street from a point in line with the western edge of George Street to a point in line with the northern edge of Edward Street; (b) Edward Street from a point in line with the northern edge of Ann Street to a point in line with the eastern edge of Elizabeth Street; (c) Elizabeth Street from a point in line with the eastern edge of Edward Street to a point in line with the southern edge of George Street; (d) George Street from a point in line with the southern edge of Elizabeth Street to a point in line with the northern edge of Ann Street. ‘(2) Expiry day for this section—16 February 2008.

s4 3 s4 Police Powers and Responsibilities Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2006 No. 15, 2006 ‘9A New Farm—New Farm Park and Brisbane Powerhouse Centre for the Arts ‘(1) The following areas at New Farm— (a) along the shoreline from the northern point of Powerhouse Park to the southern point of lot 4 on SL 12794; (b) Brunswick Street between lot 4 on SL 12794 and Sydney Street; (c) Sydney Street between, and including the intersections with, Brunswick Street and Alford Street; (d) New Farm Park consisting of lot 102 on SP 102967, lot 666 on B 12342, lot 677 on B 3213 and lot 901 on SP 172762; (e) Brisbane Powerhouse Centre for the Arts consisting of lot 101 on SP 102967 and lot 2 on RP 210504; (f) Powerhouse Park consisting of lot 1 on RP 53157. ‘(2) Expiry day for this section—16 February 2008. ‘14A South Brisbane—Kurilpa Point ‘(1) The following areas in the vicinity of Kurilpa Point— (a) Bouquet Street; (b) Lanfear Street; (c) Boundary Street, north-east of the intersection with Montague Road; (d) Merivale Street between Boundary Street and Montague Road; (e) Montague Road from, and including the intersection with, Bouquet Street to the intersection with Stanley Street; (f) Stanley Street from the intersection with Montague Road to a line in a direct line with the southern boundary of lot 22 on B 118220;

s4 4 s4 Police Powers and Responsibilities Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2006 No. 15, 2006 (g) the following areas to the shoreline along the northern boundaries of the areas— (i) lot 22 on B 118220; (ii) lot 21 on B 118220; (iii) the area from the western point of lot 21 on B 118220 in a direct line to the southern point of lot 1 on RP 818264 along the southern boundaries of lot 1 on RP 818264 and lot 5 on SL 11707; (iv) lot 5 on SL 11707; (v) lot 1 on RP 818264; (vi) lot 11 on CP 852720; (vii) the area at the northern-end of Boundary Street between lot 11 on CP 852720 and lot 1 on RP 160733; (viii) lot 1 on RP 160733; (ix) lot 1 on RP 94545; (x) lot 2 on RP 160733; (xi) lot 9 on RP 73227; (xii) lot 5 on RP 73226; (xiii) lot 2 on RP 76618; (xiv) lot 3 on RP 73229; (xv) the area at the north-eastern end of Bouquet Street adjoining lot 3 on RP 73229 to a line in a direct line with the western boundary of Bouquet Street. ‘(2) Expiry day for this section—16 February 2008.’.
