s1 2 s4 Police Powers and Responsibilities Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2005 No. 84, 2005 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Police Powers and Responsibilities Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2005 . 2 Commencement This regulation commences on 1 July 2005. 3 Regulation amended This regulation amends the PolicePowersandResponsibilities Regulation 2000. 4 Replacement of s 8P (Expiry of part) Section 8P— omit, insert — ‘8P Extension of operation of ss 371B–371F of Act—Act, s 371F ‘For section 371F(2) 1 of the Act, the operation of sections 371B to 371F 2 of the Act is extended until the end of 30 June 2006. ‘8Q Expiry of part ‘This part expires on 30 June 2006.’. 1 Section 371F (Expiry of ss 371B–371E) of the Act 2 Sections 371B (Dealing with persons affected by potentially harmful things), 371C (Duties in relation to person detained under s 371B), 371D (No compulsion to stay at place of safety), 371E (Review of operation of ss 371B–371D) and 371F (Expiry of ss 371B–371E) of the Act
