An Act to increase certain penalties under the Police Offences Act, 1901, the Vagrancy Act, 1902, and the Crimes Act 1900, as amended by subsequent Acts; for this and other purposes to amend those Acts, as so amended; and for purposes connected

therewith.

Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as

follows : —

Short title

1.

(1) This Act may be cited as the “Police Offences,

and

(2) The Police Offences Act, 1901, as amended by No. 1 9 ,1967

subsequent Acts and by this Act, may be cited as the Police

Offences Act, 1901-1967.

2. The Police Offences Act, 1901, as amended by sub- Amendment
