Police Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 Part 1 Preliminary [s 1] Part 1 Preliminary 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Police Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 . Part 2 Amendment of Police Powers and Responsibilities Regulation 2012 2 Regulation amended This part amends the PolicePowersandResponsibilitiesRegulation 2012 . 3 Amendment of sch 6 (Declared agencies) (1) Schedule 6, item 2(b) and (e)— omit. (2) Schedule 6, item 2— insert— (ga) immigration and border protection department; (3) Schedule 6, item 2(a) to (h)— renumber as item 2(a) to (g) . 4 Amendment of sch 10 (Dictionary) Schedule 10— insert— Page 2 2015 SL No. 118

Police Legislation Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2015 Part 3 Amendment of Police Service Administration Regulation 1990 [s 5] immigration and border protection department means a Commonwealth department in which any of the following laws is administered— (a) Australian Border Force Act 2015 (Cwlth); (b) Customs Act 1901 (Cwlth), other than parts XVB and XVC; (c) Migration Act 1958 (Cwlth). Part 3 Amendment of Police Service Administration Regulation 1990 5 Regulation amended This part amends the Police Service Administration Regulation 1990 . 6 Amendment of s 1.2 (Definitions) (1) Section 1.2, definition Australian Customs and Border Protection Service — omit. (2) Section 1.2— insert — immigration and border protection department means a Commonwealth department in which any of the following laws is administered— (a) Australian Border Force Act 2015 (Cwlth); (b) Customs Act 1901 (Cwlth), other than parts XVB and XVC; (c) Migration Act 1958 (Cwlth). 2015 SL No. 118 Page 3
