1. Citation
These regulations are the Police Force (Member Testing)

2. Commencement
These regulations come into operation as follows -
(a) regulations 1 and 2—on the day on which these regulations are published in the Gazette; (b) the rest of the regulations - on the day on which the Road Traffic Amendment (Impaired Driving and Penalties) Act 2020 section 37 comes into operation. 3. Regulations amended
These regulations amend the Police Force (Member Testing)
Regulations 2011.4. Regulation 3 amended
(1) In regulation 3(1) delete the definition of authorised person and
insert:authorised person has the meaning given in the Road
Traffic Act 1974 section 65;
(2)
In regulation 3(1) in the definition of confirmed adverse test result for alcohol delete "or self-testing analysing equipment showing the concentration of alcohol in a person's blood to be 0.02g" and insert:
showing the concentration of alcohol in a person's blood to be
0.02 g(3) Delete regulation 3(2) and insert:
(2) In these regulations, the following terms have the
meanings given to them in the Road Traffic Act 1974 section 65 -
breath analysing equipment;
preliminary test.
5. Regulation 12 amended
In regulation 12(2) delete "equipment, preliminary test and self-testing analysing equipment)" and insert:
equipment and preliminary test apparatus)
6. Regulation 15 amended
In regulation 15(2) delete "equipment or self-testing analysing".

8. Regulation 36 amended
In regulation 36(3) delete "or self-testing analysing equipment".
